Coming in for an evening episode, Tani recaps the end of Maui, as well as the Jimmy V Classic and Champions Classic. Kentucky can't shoot, Duke has no bigs, and Texas looks real good (so good that Tani forgot about Kansas.... Yikes). But the story of the week is Gonzaga, who beat West Virginia despite losing star freshman Jalen Suggs for some of the game, and him playing injured for the rest. They play Baylor in an epic 1 vs 2 matchup on Saturday, and until we hear otherwise, it's Gonzaga's world, and we're just living in it.

The Maui Invitational tipped off (in Asheville, North Carolina) with 4 solid games. North Carolina won by almost 30 but started down 13-0 to UNLV, so Tani digs into the Tar Heels slow starts.
