The Kite FX isn’t solely limited to recently incarcerated individuals because we believe that many can benefit from participating in activities that exposes them to places, people and things that are outside of their home environments. The keyword is eXposure. Follow us on this journey of exposing young adults from at-risk communities to things that will expand their mind, their abilities and their beliefs in themselves.

On this inaugural episode, Quindell discusses the book, “Upstate” with The Kite FX students, Max, Shaq and Kareem. Max and Kareem has read the entire book but Shaq hasn’t so it was thrilling to discuss what we took from the book. The Kite is working with a national book foundation called Literature For Justice so the students in The Kite FX program are being encouraged to read daily. “Upstate” is just one of the books. Moreover, the students also discussed their expectations of the field exposure program by The Kite. Tune in and let us know what you think.
