Response Caching

By default, results are cached to improve performance (and to reduce your cost, since cached results incur no image processing fees, just data transfer fees). You can disable caching by setting the cache parameter to none (the default is url, which means that the cache is based on the full request URL, rather than something like the checksum of the source image).

Source Image Caching

The source image is not cached, but we plan to add that in the future.

Cache Expiration

Currently, items in the cache expire after 30 days. In the future, they will expire based on the expiration header from the source image.

CDN

If you need very high performance or expect very high load, we suggest using a content delivery network (CDN) such as Voxel CDN.
